This is a club to bring fascinating, unique individuals, hidden geeks, wildly talented creatives & passionate minds, who come alive when sharing what they love. Conversations aren’t driven by money or status, but by genuine enthusiasm, discovery & connection.
Whether it’s a hands-on workshop, a thought provoking discussion, or an unexpected experience that pushes you out of your norm, every event is about more than just showing up it’s about being part of something different. You’ll leave not only with new knowledge or skills but with fresh perspectives, new friendships & the excitement to try something new.
There are no rules on how you should dress, act, or think, just a welcoming space where individuality is celebrated & encouraged. If you’ve ever felt like the usual events weren’t quite for you, chances are, this is exactly where you belong.
HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT...
With one bold move, I left yet another event. And I wondered why they are all very similar?! Sitting at another event with a numb ass, listening to the same sort of people say how they can either change my world, change your world, empower, inspire, motivate, when most are just blowing smoke up their own asses.
Yes, I love a good story…
Yes, I love informative talks…
Yes, I love knowledgeable people…
But really…do we need these events to be chained down to a seat, watching a projector screen of graphs, figures and blar blar blar BS, that we pretty much forget about!
Even a friend of mine, left an event early because in her opinion it was ‘as dull as dishwater.’ Lol!
Come on, where’s the exciting talks that inspire us to move forward in life, book that holiday, take up that new hobby, open our eyes to new possibilities & things.
Where are all the rooms filled with secret geeks, oddly talented, amazingly unique people who get excited talking about their passions, while not focusing on money & returns? Well I don’t think it’s out there…Or is it..?
What if I told you that I have always had a vision to not only help others but do it in an inspiring fun way?
Omg, I’ve been a Swimming Instructor for nearly 30 years & children don’t hold back when they are bored, maybe why I look at things differently when I’m at an event or joining a club.
I not only think I’ve thought of a great idea for giving you a fun filled event through ‘The Oddbunch Club’ every event that is held will give back to a local charity too!
Each event I’ve been to has lined the organisers pocket or with an upsell to something else, with the odd token gesture of a fundraising raffle, if lucky.
Am I odd to think this should change? You're damn right I’m odd, odd to want to help others?
No, I think we are all here to be givers, if that’s our time, a skill, our love or passion, but we need to show it through fun. Because let's be honest when we are having fun, things are so much better & it just flows, right?
What if I told you that I’ve started a club. It’s not exclusive, you don’t have to be a certain way, dress a certain way. You just have to be you!
With all the bits & bobs you think/feel are odd, you’ll be surprised how many people probably love those odd quirks. Because that’s what makes you you!
A place to get to know other oddly wonderful people, all while making a change in someone else's life.
